scanning to Tobit server for emails

  • just installed a KONICA MINOLTA C364 Series printer. typed in the ip address of the server in the printer (and set up a couple of tobit users / email addresses etc) so we can scan images to individual internal email address's. But the email comes in as just text, not an attached image. Any ideas ??

    I've added our domain name to the "valid domain" names list but it still just emails me an email full of text and not an email with the scan attached as a PDF file.

  • Please do the following: Start your DAVID.Administrator, go to "System" - "Configure" and put your domain into the field "Domain" on the first tab (fx. "disney.co.uk").


    Then go to "Email" - "Postman" - "Configure" and put the same domain in the field "SMTP Host Name" on the first tab.


    Next take a text-editor, go to the DAVID-directory on your server, open the folder \\DAVID\APPS\POSTMAN\Code and edit the file POSTMAN.INI. Look for the entry "EHLOWITHDOMAIN", remove the ";" in front of it and set the value to TRUE. The line should now look like "EHLOWITHDOMAIN=TRUE". If there is no such line in your file than add it.


    Save the text file and restart service-layer and postman within the DAVID.Administrator. That should fix it.
