David 6.6 - Fax funktioniert nicht

    Hallo zusammen


    habe mir günstig über eBay eine 5 User/1 Port David 6.6 Lizenz ersteigert, um einen Faxserver aufzubauen, der Faxe entgegennimmt und regelbasiert weiter faxt.


    Leider ist es mir bisher nicht gelungen den Fax Server zur Mitarbeit zu bewegen.


    Ich denke, dass ich im DVise Administrator den Port soweit richtig konfiguriert habe(Routing Method MSN), Hardwaretreiber wurden korrekt installiert, Service Pack 5 für Dvise wurde ebenfalls eingespielt


    Möchte ich nun ein Fax versenden, wird in einer Endlosschleife nur die Titelzeile übertragen (Faxspeicher muss gelöscht werden, im Dvise Administrator muss der Job gelöscht werden)


    Faxempfang funktioniert ebensowenig, da die Leitung permanent blockiert ist (und sie ist definitiv frei).


    Testweise habe ich die AVM Fritz! Software installiert, um zu prüfen, ob Treiber etc. richtig installiert sind - aus der Fritz Software heraus klappt es einwandfrei !


    Ich setze ein:
    Windows 2000 Server englisch mit SP4
    AVM FritzCard ISA/PNP bzw. AVM B1 ISA (beide testweise ausprobiert, Windows wurde jeweils neu installiert)


    Ich bin schon völlig verzweifelt, hoffentlich habt Ihr noch eine Idee....

    "Invalid number format" ist nicht sauber. Hast du an der Standard DAVID-Installation irgendwelche Veränderungen vorgenommen?
    Welche Protokolle sind für den Port aktiviert (am besten nur Fax + ECT)?
    Karte direkt am NTBA oder an TK-Anlage (unbedingt direkt testen)?
    In der Benutzer-Konfiguration "Kostenschlüssel mitwählen" deaktivieren.
    Im Tobit Infocenter sollte erstmal keine Nebenstelle in den Optionen eingestellt sein.

    "invalid number format" kam erst, nachdem ich die Faxverbindung getrennt hatte. Als Sprachdurchsage kam "Ihre Verbindung wird gehalten".
    Offensichtlich nimmt Tobit den Anruf nicht entgegen.
    Als Protokolle sind nur Fax+ECT eingestellt.
    Der FaxServer hängt direkt an der NTBA! Keine TK dazwischen.


    Kostenschlüssel mitwählen war deaktiviert, die Nebenstelle im Infocenter habe ich rausgelöscht.


    Kann es sein, dass ich mehr als eine 1 Port Lizenz benötige? Bei der Installation habe ich angegeben, dass ich auch Email nutzen möchte daraufhin wurde der Port 000 DvIse Postman eingerichtet. Fax ist dann der Port 001


    Wie sollte ich am besten eine Grundinstallation von Tobit vornehmen? Welche Einstellungen sollten unbedingt vorgenommen und welche sollten vermieden werden? In welcher Reihenfolge muss was installiert werden (erst Grundkonfiguration vornehmen, dann Service Pack ...??)


    Bin Tobit betreffend leider absoluter Newbie, das Handbuch hat mir auch nicht weiter geholfen, in der Knowledge Base hatte niemand auch nur annähernd meine Probleme. Ich denke es kann sich nur um eine Banalität handeln, finde aber keinen Lösungsansatz.

    1 Port ist immer inklusive, d.h. reicht in deinem Fall aus. Der Postman wird nicht als Port gerechnet.
    Für den normalen Faxbetrieb muß ausser dem Port und einer MSN eigentlich nichts besonderes beachtet werden. SP kannst du beliebig installieren.
    Neuestes AVM CAPI-Update drauf? Am besten AVM PCI-Karte einbauen, Port löschen und neu anlegen. Damit kann man ein Problem mit den ISA-Karten vollständig ausschliessen, auch wenn mit der Fritz Software alles läuft.

    werde gleich eine AVM Fritz Card PCI einbauen und Windows resp. Tobit sicherheitshalber komplett neu installieren.

    habe gerade den rechner und tobit komplett neu aufgesetzt mit einer FritzCard PCI .


    Grundkonfiguration wurde nicht geändert.
    Keine weiteren Benutzer ausser Administrators angelegt.


    habe nur den Port konfiguriert (ECT + Fax aktiviert), die Faxkennung eingetragen, MSN als Verteilmethode und das war´s


    MEINE PROBLEME SIND GENAU dieselben
    Faxversand ist in einer ENDLOS Schleife (nur Titelzeile wird übertragen) bei Faxempfang erhalte ich die Meldung, dass eine andere Applikation den Anruf erhalten hat????
    Auf meinem Rechner ist ausser Windows 2000 und Tobit nichts installiert????


    Ich weiss nicht mehr weiter.....


    Hat noch jemand eine Idee?

    Ist der ISDN-Anschluss vielleicht noch ein 1TR6? Dann braucht man andere AVM-Treiber. Nur der Faxserver alleine am S0 und richtig terminiert? Mit verschiedenen Gegenstellen hast du die Sache sicher auch schon getestet.

    Der Anschluss ist ein normaler Euro-ISDN Anschluss.
    Der Faxserver hängt alleine an der NTBA. Was meinst du mit richtig terminiert???


    Verschiedene MSN´s und Faxgeräte habe ich schon ausprobiert....

    Terminator des NTBA (meistens DIP-Schalter oder Jumper) sollte eingeschaltet sein. Ist aber sehr unwahrscheinlich, daß es daran liegt. Lässt du bei der Port-Einrichtung die Karte automatisch erkennen oder manuell? Die FritzSoftware sollte nicht auf dem Rechner sein (ISDNWatch, etc.). Im Geräte-Manager würde ich bei der ISDN-Karte keine MSNs eintragen.

    Hallo


    ein Teil des Problems ist gelöst, d.h. der Faxversand funktioniert.
    Mein Problem war, dass Server- und Clientsoftware auf einem Rechner laufen und David nach einer aktiven Netzwerkkarte verlangt. Die vorhandene Netzwerkkarte habe ich deaktiviert und den Microsoft TCP/IP Loopback Adapter installiert - nun geht´s!


    Der Faxempfang funktioniert leider immer noch nicht. Am sendenden Faxgerät erhalte ich die Sprachnachricht: "Bitte legen Sie nicht auf, wir verbinden Sie mit der Zentrale - ihre Verbindung wird gehalten"


    Anscheinend erkennt Tobit das ankommende Fax nicht bzw. blockiert die Leitung.


    Ich habe alle Dienste ausser FaxG3 deaktiviert!
    Der Port Monitor zeigt mir als Protokoll "Phone" an und bricht nach kurzer Zeit mit einem Protocol Error Layer 1 ab????

    Ich habe eine ähnliche Konstellation wie du. Fritz Card, David 6.6, OS NT4.0, auf einem Rechner mit LoopBack.
    Anschluß auch direkt an NTBA


    Ich habe 2 MSN's eingetragen. Die erste ist Fax, die zweite Telefon. Funktioniert alles seit 3 Jahren ohne Mucken.

    ein Zusatz noch:
    Habe die FritzCard unter Win2k mit einem virtuellen Com3 Port installiert und habe Tobit bei der automatischen Hardwareerkennung auf Com3 gestellt.


    Während der Installation von Tobit tritt auch immer irgendwann der Fehler auf, dass das PCI Device mit der Nr xy illegal sei
    Eine Installation ohne diesen Fehler habe ich noch nicht hinbekommen.
    Die FritzCard wurde wie folgt installiert. Erstinstallation mit den im Betriebssystem vorhanden Treibern anschliessend Installation des CAPI Treibers von der AVM Website.
    Könnte sich das noch auswirken?

    mit dem Com3 Port habe ich keine Erfahrung.
    Wann hast du die Fritzcard installiert, vor der David Inst?
    Wenn ja, so sollte es sein, hat vor der David Inst alles funktioniert? Ich habe Fritzfax etc. auch installiert und es funktioniert mit David zusammen ohne Probs.


    Also wichtig: Vor der David Installation sollte das W2K und die Fritzcard sauber installiert sein und funktionieren. Achtung: Auch die Capitreiber (von AVM)
    vor David installieren.


    Du hast eventuell auch noch ein Hardwareproblem.
    Prüfe mal bitte ob dein Motherboard einen PCI Slot hat der seine IRQ mit einem anderen teilt (meist Sondkarte).


    Wechsle die Fritzcard in einen anderen Slot.

    Hallo Ulli


    habe die FritzCard auf einen anderen Slot gesetzt und Hardware die evtl. Probleme machen könnte (Soundkarte, Netzwerkkarte) entfernt. Win2k mit ServicePack 4 wurde komplett neu installiert, anschliessend AVM Treiber.
    Während der David Installation bekomme ich folgende Nachricht:
    Installation der mitgelieferten Treiber?
    Wenn ich dies bestätige bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung "Device PCI\Ven_1244&Dev_0700 does not match any device on machine"


    Wie ich festgestellt habe funktioniert der Faxversand auch nur eingeschränkt - sobald ich kein normales Fax ansteuere (z.B. PC-Fax Software) wird das Fax abgelehnt. Anscheinend identifziert sich David bei der Gegenstelle nicht richtig als Faxgerät.

    Die von dir beschriebene Fehlermeldung besagt eigentlich das David die Fritzcard (bzw. AVM Card, wie es bei David heißt) nicht gefunden hat.

    Hallo


    ich habe das gleiche Problem:
    vor David 6.6 war Faxware 5.2 installiert
    Faxware habe ich deinstalliert und dann David installiert.
    SP für David ist installiert, aktuelle CAPI ist drauf
    Faxversand ist OK, aber der Empfang klappt nicht.
    Ich sehe bei ankommendem Ruf die Kennung des anderen Faxes, dann wechselt ca. 1min lang die Anzeige im Portmonitor zwischen Dailing und script running.
    Die Fehlermeldung für den Port ist die gleiche wie oben (...Layer 1).
    Laut Tobit sollen die ISDN Treiber kontrolliert (durch die neusten ersetzt) werden. Das ist natürlich auch schon geschehen.
    Weiß jetzt nicht mehr weiter ... ?(
